MONO-AMMONIUM PHOSPHATE

MAP is a concentrated fertilizer composed of phosphate and nitrogen that can be used directly for soil fertilization or as a raw material for blends. Ideally suited to soils with neutral to high pH levels, MAP is moderately acidic, which reduces the risk of ammonia loss to the air and enables MAP to be placed near germinating seeds without concern for ammonia damage. As a water-soluble fertilizer, MAP dissolves quickly in adequately moist soil.
