DI-AMMONIUM PHOSPHATE
DAP is a concentrated fertilizer composed of phosphate and nitrogen that can be used directly for soil fertilization or as a raw material for blends. It is the most widely used phosphate fertilizer due to its high nutrient content and excellent physical properties, and it provides complete phosphate nutrition throughout crop growth and development. Applications include during fall tilling, spring sowing and pre-sowing cultivation. As a water-soluble fertilizer, DAP dissolves quickly in adequately moist soil. DAP is best suited for acidic soils as applying DAP temporarily increases soil pH.
